At Awakening our kids (infant through 5th grade) experience The Grove, a safe, age-appropriate environment where they learn about Jesus in a creative and relevant way.

We would love to see you and your family visit The Grove.

The Grove at Home

Determination: Deciding it’s worth it to finish what you started

Memory Verse: "Let us not become tired of doing good. At the right time we will gather a crop if we don’t give up. 10So when we can do good to everyone, let us do it. Let’s try even harder to do good to the family of believers."
-Galatians 6:9

Throughout the Bible, we read about all sorts of people who showed determination in the face of hardship and difficulty. They relied on God’s strength to get them through it. Even Jesus Himself endured through the pain of the cross so that we would be able to have a forever relationship with God. When it comes to the situations in our own lives, God gives us the Holy Spirit to empower us to keep going, even when life gets difficult.

What to expect.

Here's what to expect when visiting The Grove at Awakening for the first time:

First, find the area marked for "The Grove Sign In" our Welcome Center. There we will meet your family, check your child into our system, and then one of our volunteers will lead you and you child to their age-appropriate room.

Once checked in for the first time, we will ask for the following personal information (NOTE: We value your privacy and will not share this information with anyone):
  • Parent/guardian name(s)
  • Child's name
  • Child's birthdate
  • Home address
  • Phone number
  • Any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your children

How checkin works.

The safety of your children is the highest priority at The Grove. So in an attempt to make Sunday's family friendly, as well as, safe, we've installed a painless check in system. If this is your first time you'll be prompted to register yourself and your children's names.

The computer will print a sticker for the parent and the child which will be paired with a specific  code. In order for a child to be picked up, the parent must have the check-out tag with the coinciding bar code.

Don't worry.....we have children's workers posted at the check-in station to assist you!
